With Accident Forgiveness, a surcharge resulting from an at-fault accident, and the corresponding loss of the driver's Excellent Driver Plus (SDIP Points 99) discount, will not be applied, saving a customer hundreds of dollars a year.

This option automatically applies to the first surchargeable at-fault accident, provided the policy:

• has been in force with Plymouth Rock for at least 48 months prior to the renewal policy date
• includes only listed operators with SDIP Points 99
• lists the at-fault driver and vehicle
• includes no other accidents currently being waived.

Only the first surchargeable at-fault accident is "forgiven." Any violations relating to the accident or any subsequent accidents are subject to the applicable surcharge. The waiver applies only while the customer is insured with Plymouth Rock.

The Deductible Rewards, Actual Replacement Cost and OEM endorsements may be used on a claim being "forgiven."

Optional Accident Forgiveness Coverage The Accident Forgiveness option may be purchased for a policy that has been with Plymouth Rock less than 48 months prior to the policy effective date provided the other eligibility requirements apply, including: all listed drivers are SDIP Points 99. the at-fault driver and the vehicle involved are listed on the policy, and there are no other accidents currently being waived on the policy. The cost for the optional coverage is 1.5% of the total premium for Parts 1-9 and Part 12, and must be purchased at the inception of the policy term.

The discount may not be endorsed mid-term, and must be requested before each policy renewal for which the student is eligible (based on grades and inexperienced operator classification). The Student Away at School discount cannot be selected in conjunction with the Good Student discount. The higher of the two discounts should be applied. All other eligible discounts apply.

To be eligible, the student operator may not have regular access to the covered vehicle while at school or on weekends. The discount would still apply when the student is home on breaks and summer vacation as long as they remain enrolled at the school and reside on or near campus during the regular school year.

Why do I need a Personal Umbrella policy?
